This property manager ensures that camp buildings and grounds are maintained in a consistently safe, attractive, and efficient manner; performs routine checks and responds to observations or requests from staff; performs repairs and remodeling jobs within expertise and/or oversees contracted services; utilizes a wide range of equipment and supplies in the performance of the essential job functions. Camp Prairie Schooner sits on 176 acres and offers Girl Scout members progressive camping experiences, with several year-round buildings, large multi-purpose dining hall, aquatics center w/ newly renovated pool, shower house and splash pad. Camp has several adventure activities like climbing tower, zipline and target sports. Housing is offered at Camp Prairie Schooner for this role. If not living on-site, it is required to live within 15 minutes of camp. Camp truck is provided for use of work functions. Night/weekend/holiday work as necessary as well as 24-hour emergency on-call while members or non-members are on site.
