The American Camp Association (鲸鱼电竞app赛事(鲸鱼电竞注册登录)) is pleased to announce a new educational alliance with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) , whose mission is to drive advances in science, technology, and exploration to enhance communication, knowledge, education, innovation, economic vitality, and stewardship of the Earth.

Through this alliance, 鲸鱼电竞app赛事(鲸鱼电竞注册登录) and NASA will broaden the STEM-related educational resources that are available to the camp community and enhance STEM-related professional development opportunities for camp professionals. NASA intends to inspire a new generation of scientists, engineers, explorers, educators, and innovators to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Astronaut, John Grunsfeld, PhD is also an avid supporter of the alliance. In July 1969 he was at summer camp in Wisconsin when the camp brought everyone together to watch Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin step foot on the moon for the first time. That moment at summer camp inspired him to work with the 鲸鱼电竞app赛事(鲸鱼电竞注册登录) to try and give that experience to campers today. Watch his video below!

鲸鱼电竞app赛事(鲸鱼电竞注册登录) partnered with NASA in the summer of 2012 to offer camps exciting resources in recognition of NASA’s mission to set down a large, mobile laboratory — the rover called "Curiosity" — on Mars. The Mars Science Laboratory spacecraft was launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, on Nov. 26, 2011, and landed on Mars on Aug. 6, 2012. Learn more.
